You know what makes you better than the competition and you've spent much money and effort to become the business you are today. There are two parts to every business: the inside reality and the outside perception.
The inside reality is the actual value that your products and services, your employees, systems, culture, customer service, etc. bring to the marketplace.
The outside perception is the way that your company is viewed by prospects and customers based on how you communicate with them through marketing, networking, ads, etc.
Because the inside reality and the outside perception often do not match up, customers become confused.
A confused customer or prospect has a difficult time making a purchasing decision. For you, this represents another lost sale.
The good news is that it's quite easy to adjust your message to be customer-centered, without spending a lot of time and money.
The companies who benefit the most from my work are those who have a good inside reality and want to create a strategically strong outside perception to attract more customers.
